We’ve spent years figuring these things out in our own childcare centers. Now, we want to turn what we’ve learned along the way into practical knowledge you can actually use. That’s why we’re building the hulii Academy. Think of it as a little cheat code for childcare: real lessons from real practice, without having to spend years learning every single one the hard way.

Always learning

For nearly 15 years, we’ve been running our own childcare centers in Germany. Plenty of time to try things, change things, get them wrong, make them better, and learn a whole lot along the way.

We truly believe great childcare isn’t something you figure out once and then call it a day. We’re still learning, too. New challenges bring new questions, and sometimes yesterday’s answer simply doesn’t fit today. So we keep trying, listening, testing, and improving. And when something really works, we make sure the lesson doesn’t stay with us. We share it through the hulii Academy.

Great childcare doesn’t happen by chance. There are principles and proven concepts behind it. And the things that really work day after day usually have something in common: they can be understood, tested, improved, and shared.

We’ve spent years learning what makes great childcare work. Not just in theory, but every day in our own centers. Now, we’re bringing those lessons together in the hulii Framework: principles, practices, and tools that others can learn from and put to work.

But here’s where it gets exciting. The hulii Framework is built to evolve with everything we learn. Our future US centers will play a big part in that. They won’t simply follow the hulii Framework. They’ll help shape it. Every new challenge, idea, and lesson can feed back into the Framework and make it a little smarter than it was before.

Kids are pretty amazing learners when you give them the chance. They build, climb, wonder, argue, make up, ask a million questions, get things wrong, and try all over again. Our job isn’t to have all the answers ready for them. It’s to create a place where they feel safe enough to figure things out on their own. Because sometimes the best learning starts with a simple: “What happens if I try this?”
